Well, the season is upon us!  Spring and baseball go hand in hand.  Madison will be playing in her first scrimmage of the season this evening.  It’s rumored that they are one league above us.  Which means, we play “coach pitch” softball and they play “kid pitch”.  It should be pretty interesting since we’ve only had 3 practices so far this season.  The girls know how to play, there is only 1 new girl on the team this year.  Should be exciting!!!!

As for Mason, he is a Rattler!  From what I’m hearing, their colors will be maroon and white but that still remains to be seen.  When he’s at practice he acts like he’s never picked up a bat or ball and has no clue how to run the bases.  They have him playing 2^nd base and it’s simply hilarious.  He basically stands there because he thinks wherever they put him he can’t move from there or something.  And then they will tell him to cover 2^nd and he acts like he doesn’t know where 2^nd base is.  It’s quite aggravating but so adorable at the same time.  Hopefully, he will loosen up and start playing the way he does when he’s in the backyard.  We’ll see how he progresses.
